| Marcus “Epic-phlave” Tucker is the owner and founder of “Face da Phlave Entertainment”, the leading hip-hop and Anti-Violence program in America. Marcus was born on September 23, 1980, in Baltimore, Maryland. Marcus was raised in Pennsauken, New Jersey, were he got heavily involved with sports and art. Marcus learned the foundation of breaking. Improving at rapid speeds, he was asked to be a member of the number one B-boy crew in Philadelphia, "Illadelph Phlave". Quickly after, crew members Husain Zahir and Amra Ricketts introduced Marcus to Clyde Evans Jr. Owner of Philadelphia based Chosen Dance Company. Marcus began his hip hop theatre career here when he did his first theatre show in December 2002, in the "Philly Nut Crack up”. In 2003 Clyde Evans was asked to chose three of the best dancer in Philly to do a hip hop theatre tour in England with “Kompany Malikhi” , "Hip- Hop story ". Marcus was one of the three chosen. There Marcus met Judi McCarthy from Independance. Interested in his ability to teach and leadership qualities, Judi gave Marcus the opportunity to be in the driver seat. He directed and performed in a show called "Heroes", written by Amra Rickets. Heroes toured the UK from March 2004 to August 2004 and May 2005 to August 2005. Marcus then returned to America to create a dance company called, “Face da Phlave Entertainment”, alongside partner Andrew Ramsey and personal Assistant Kennith Thomas. |

| As word spread of his rapid success, Marcus was then invited to choreograph and perform for the world leading Hip-hop Theatre Company, “Rennie Harris Pure movement”. He moved on to work on America’s B.E.T (Black Entertainment television) with Artist such as Nick cannon, John Legend, Marques Houston, Nas, and Ciara. Marcus recently choreographed three music videos for Malaysia’s RnB/ pop artist “Melissa indot”. Marcus is currently doing choreography for music videos, fashion shows, touring workshops and lecture demonstrations internationally.
